Bachelor Pad Ideas was created because there was a lack of interior design related resources for guys out there. There is plenty of sites on “girly stuff”, too many really, but nothing for real men.

This is not a site with a bunch of futuristic furniture and architecture and cars. This is not a home decorating blog. This site was created for guys who might not be the cleanest, and maybe not that into interior design, yet don’t want to live in a dump. You want a place where your buddies can hang out yet you aren’t afraid to bring a girl home to.

There has to be a medium between super-girly and a dirty frat house and this site hopes to help guys find that medium. At BPI we don’t talk about throw pillows and duvets. We want you to have a kick ass place where you can bring a girl over and she isn’t going to be groused out and still have the guys over to watch the game. A place that is distinctly manly, yet not a complete shit hole.

We also cover ideas and ways for making cheap improvements to your place. None of use really have thousands or even hundreds of dollars to throw into your pads, and probably would spend that money elsewhere if we had it. Therefor, we’ve come up with some low budget and downright cheap ways to improve your place. Some of which are do-it-yourself type projects and some are ways of re-purposing items to fit your needs.

On the other side of the spectrum we also cover inspiration and awesome products for when you do get that big paycheck and want to know how to spend your money.
